Buy a business in 90 days —
the full breakdown.

Seven steps, green-card teaching style, pure value. The script you read is first. The editor notes — what's on screen for every scene, mapped to the board — are the second tab. How to make one of these is the third.

Hook

If I wanted to help you buy your first business — or if you already own one, buy your competitor — in the next 90 days, here's exactly what I'd do.

Step 1 — Deal criteria

Step number one, your deal criteria. That's just writing down what you'll actually buy before you look at a single deal.

Number one, your cash flow floor. Number two, your price range and geography. Number three, three to five industries max — ideally one.

Most people skip this, and that's exactly why they waste a year looking and never buy anything.

Step 2 — Deal flow

Step number two, deal flow. There's only three ways to find deals, and everybody only knows the first one.

Number one, listed — sixteen marketplaces, not one, scanned every day.

Number two, pre-market — twenty-seven hundred brokers who send us stuff before they list it. Took us ten years to build those relationships.

Number three, off-market — straight to owners who never listed. Use Clay to enrich the database, and Instantly to warm the accounts and run the outreach.

Everybody's fighting over door one. Nobody's even knocking on two and three.

Step 3 — Analysis

Step number three, analysis. A deal comes back as a forty-page memorandum somebody got paid to make look as good as possible. It's a sales document, not a report.

So you run the same eight questions on every one. Earnings including the bad year, not the best one. Top risks. Is there a manager.

And number eight, the one that kills people — who's actually going to run this the day after you close? Because most deals that look like three times earnings are really four and a half once you price that in.

Good news is, AI can read every one of these now and kill the bad ones fast.

Step 4 — The money

Step number four, the money. Everybody thinks they need two million dollars to buy a two million dollar business. You don't.

Ten percent from you, ten from the seller, eighty from the bank. And that ten percent doesn't even have to be yours — it can come from investors. We might even invest alongside you… if we like you and the deal, and you're not an asshole. Wink wink.

A bank won't fund your startup idea. But it'll happily fund you to buy something that already makes money.

Step 5 — The offer

Step number five, the offer. You sign the NDAs, send your proof of funds, and put the letter of intent together.

Honestly, if you follow this and let AI do the heavy lifting through the whole process — the only thing left for you to do is say yes to the right deal. That's the entire job. Rough life, I know.

Step 6 — Grow it with AI

Step number six, now you own it — so you grow it. You let AI learn your SOPs and eventually run them for you.

The phone gets answered at nine on a Sunday night. Every lead gets chased. Reviews climb from four point one to four point nine. Your content and ads run on AI too.

That's how a couple of people run what used to take hundreds — you've basically got a team of AI employees that never sleep.

Step 7 — Roll it up & exit

Step number seven, and this is where it gets fun. One business sells for three times earnings. Five of them combined sell for eight to twelve.

Same businesses — the buyer's just paying for size. That's a rollup. And bringing AI into it is what we call an AI powered rollup.

I know because we supported billions of dollars of these transactions at Acquisitions.com, and I just sold Rollups.com to Naval Ravikant's company.

Close

Repeat this and in ninety days you could own a business that already makes money, running on AI.

If you want me to send you all the templates, prompts and scripts — comment ASSETS below.

And if you want us to just do it for you — DM me and let's talk.

Editor notes — scene by scene

Same rhythm as the reference reel: you on camera for the step intros, full-screen lime-green graphic for each breakdown. Board = the Miro board; pull the real card each step names. Record in Chrome full-screen so the URL never shows.

The look — locked
  • Lime-green (#c9f31d) full-screen cards for every teaching graphic — dark heading, the step name huge, one keyword-caption at the bottom. Exactly the reference style.
  • You to camera for the hook, each step's first line, and the close — warm room, handheld, natural.
  • Board footage lives inside the green cards or as a clean screen-recording — never the browser chrome.
  • Something changes every 2–3 seconds. Circle every number in red as it's said.

One rule for this and every value video

The body is pure value — never a pitch. Teach what they would do. The only place "we do it for you" shows up is the closing DM line. Comment = the free assets. DM = the paid done-for-you. Two doors, never blurred.

How to make one of these

The repeatable process — from an Instagram video you liked to a record-ready script your editor can cut.

The loop, in seven moves

1
Find an outlier. An Instagram reel you like that passed the 5× rule — 5× more views than the creator's following. Proven, not just popular.
2
Drop the URL in.Send the reel link to the loop (today: paste it into Claude in the terminal — prompt below. Later: a page you paste into).
3
It decodes the video.Downloads it, transcribes the audio, and describes it scene by scene — every on-screen graphic and text.
4
It classifies the funnel stage.TOF (hook for everyone), MOF (detailed teach), or BOF (proof / testimonial) — so the rewrite matches the job.
5
It rewrites in your voice.Same structure and rhythm as the original, but your words, your board, your knowledge — angled to one of: buy a business, grow with AI, or the AI-powered rollup.
6
Out comes a page like this one.Readable script first, editor notes per scene second, the Miro board linked, and a Google Drive folder for the raw footage.
7
You edit, record, hand off.Tweak the wording in place, record it, send the editor the URL + the Drive link. The system learns from your edits so next time it sounds more like you.

The three angles every rewrite fits into

AngleWhat it teachesUsual stage
Buy a businessDeal criteria → flow → analysis → money → offer. The board's Part 1.TOF / MOF
Grow with AIThe 90-day install, agents, the dashboard, SOPs run by AI. The board's Part 2.MOF
AI-powered rollupCombine, add AI, exit at 8–12×. Rollups.com / Acquisitions.com authority.MOF / BOF

The funnel test — pick the stage first

Match the source video's format — don't force split screen

Whatever the original reel does, ours does. If it's face-to-camera plus full-screen graphic cards (like the 0→10K reference), we do that — the board shows up inside the graphics, not as a split screen. If the original is a split screen, we split. If it's a dark couch talking-head, we match that. Mirror the scene count and rhythm too — if she did nine scenes, aim for nine; longer or shorter only if the content needs it.

Make it move — engagement is the whole game

The reference reels feel alive because things enter one at a time, never all at once. Every editor note must say how each element arrives:

Rule of thumb: if you paused on any second and nothing had just moved or was about to, it's not engaging enough.

The voice rules the rewrite always keeps

The prompt to run it yourself today

Paste this into Claude in the terminal, with an Instagram reel URL. It runs the whole loop and publishes a page like this one:

Take this Instagram reel: [URL]

1. Download it, transcribe the audio, and describe it scene by scene —
   every on-screen graphic and text.
2. Decide if it's TOF, MOF or BOF and say why.
3. Rewrite it in MY voice using the Miro board and everything you know
about me — angle it to one of: buy a business, grow with AI, or the
AI-powered rollup. Keep the SAME structure, step count and rhythm as
   the original.
4. Apply my rules: pure-value body, numbered steps, real tool names, the
two-door CTA (comment ASSETS = free assets, DM = done-for-you), light
   humour.
5. Publish a page like /buy-in-90: the readable script first, per-scene
editor notes second, the Miro board linked, and a Drive folder slot.
Deploy it to a public URL and send me the link.

Where this is heading

The end state: a page you paste an Instagram URL into (or drop a video), and it returns the script + editor notes + Drive link automatically — editable in place like a Google Doc, learning your wording over time. The goal is three reels a day: watch, send, get three record-ready scripts, forward the editor the URLs and the Drive folder. This page is the manual version of that output. Say the word and I'll build the automated one.
